Biothane is a coated webbing material that is strong, flexible and lightweight.
It's also waterproof, stink-proof, and stain-proof, making it extremely easy to care for and clean. This makes it our material of choice for pups that love to swim or get dirty!
We use the "Super Heavy" Biothane for all of our leashes, handsfree adapters, classic collars and martingale collars which has a substantial and luxe feel to it. Our adjustable quick release collars use the "Standard" Biothane.
One of the best things about Biothane is how easy it is to care for and clean. Simply soak your gear in warm soapy water as needed. You can use an old toothbrush to scrub away any stubborn dirt. Rinse away any remaining dirt and soap residue with clean water.
Solid brass hardware naturally oxidizes as it ages. It can leave tarnish marks against the biothane, especially on the lighter colours.
To remove tarnish marks, we recommend using a magic eraser or a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Please ensure to thoroughly rinse your product with soap and water before using your gear again.
While Biothane is easy to clean, it does still get dirty. Please keep in mind that lighter colours will show dirt and tarnish marks more easily, and will require more frequent cleaning to keep looking fresh!

With 2 wiley beagles, each on their own "sniff" trail, the multi dog lead is a game changer. They no loger get tangled and my arms are safe from being pulled out of their sockets in 2 different directions. I have better control and balance with a central connector point.

I can finally walk two dogs (1 medium and 1 large size) hands free! Walking 12-15 miles a week with two dogs feels great but now that I can have both arms swinging I feel much more balanced. The espresso set with gold hardware looks classy. The perfect neutral. The hardware swivels easily so no tangling between dogs. Also, living in a rainforest in Alaska, I don’t have to worry about the leashes starting to smell from the damp/wet. Wish I would have found Strange Tails years ago!
We LOVE everything so far! We’ve been using the system for a few weeks now and have zero complaints. I use the hands free but also convert and use with a handle when just going down the street for short walks. The leashes are durable and clean so easy!

Easy to use and helps keeps the dogs untangled when we walk them at the same time.
I really appreciate this piece of equipment, especially in tandem with the hands free belt. I use this every day and it makes walking two cavaliers tangle free and much more enjoyable. My small dogs are able to walk at their own pace, I have less annoyance wth twisted leads... And an extra bonus is that this attachment can be separated from the belt and used to clip two dogs to a fence or shopping cart! I've used this in Winners/Homesense with the dogs in the cart to keep their leashes on and them tied to the cart. It's excellent and such a useful tool for me! I opted to purchase this in a slightly thicker width than the leashes and the O ring has lots of room for leash clips.
Do not know how I survived life without this before now! I adore this product and am so grateful for it! 20/10 would recommend.

For my preference, this makes the leash too long. I was also disappointed that using it for three leashes is not good. I failed to read how many leashes this would be able to handle.

I have 2 large retrievers and this lets them go where they want to sniff without getting tangled up.
This attachment has allowed me to walk both dogs without having to continuously untangle the leashes! I did notice that the buckle has a piece chipped out of it and I was concerned about the integrity but it continues to be strong!
Love the multi dog attachment. It’s perfect for my boys when we use longlines. I will only use strange tail products. They are very durable and easy to clean plus all the fun colors to choose from. Their customer service is amazing.

The multi-dog attachment has been a game changer for walking two dogs. It easily attaches to our hands-free adapter and allows both dogs to walk without tangling the leashes. We also use the detachable long line handle to attach other leashes we use that have standard handles. Both are extremely functional and great additions to our biothane collection!
